✏️英作文練習：〜人のうち〜人が〜する【“out of”構文】
英語表現でよく使われる “〇 out of 〇” の構文。今回は5つの日本語文を英訳してみました！
自分の英作文を、ChatGPTに添削してもらいました！
① クラスの30人のうち、10人が海外に行ったことがある。
- 自分の回答：
Ten out of thirty classmates have been to abroad. - 添削後の正解：
✅ Ten out of thirty classmates have been abroad. - ポイント：
❌ “to abroad” はNG！“abroad” は副詞だから前置詞いらない！
② チームの5人のうち、3人が週末に練習している。
- 自分の回答：
Three out of five in the team do practice weekend. - 添削後の正解：
✅ Three out of five members in the team practice on weekends. - ポイント：
“do practice” じゃなくて “practice” はそのまま動詞でOK！“on weekends” で週末に。
③ 100人中20人が英語を話せる。
- 自分の回答：
Twenty out of one hundred can speak English. - 添削後の正解：
💯 Twenty out of one hundred can speak English. - ポイント：
この文は完璧！自信持ってOK！
④ バスに乗っていた20人のうち、半分が学生だった。
- 自分の回答：
Half of twenty in the bus are students. - 添削後の正解：
✅ Half of the twenty people on the bus were students. - ポイント：
“in the bus” → 正しくは “on the bus”！あと “twenty” だけじゃなくて “twenty people” にするのが自然。
過去の出来事なら “were” にも注意！
⑤ 1000人のうち約8％がこのアンケートに回答した。
