There are a lot of sweets in Japan. You can enjoy all kinds of them, like traditional Japanese sweets, Western-style desserts, and more.
Today, I want to introduce Umaibo, my favorite snack. It has been popular among children since it was first released in 1979. Classic flavors include sauce, salami, and curry—but I’ve never tried those.
These days, I heard there are about 19 flavors of Umaibo. Why do so many people love them?
The biggest reason, I think, is that they are both tasty and cheap! There are many delicious flavors—like corn, cheese, and mentaiko—so you can easily find your favorite. Plus, they are super affordable. Each one costs only about 10 yen, so even kids can buy them easily.
