The weather changed rapidly today.
It was sunny and really hot when I went to work, but it started raining just as I was about to go home!
Luckily, I had my folding umbrella with me — a small blessing in the middle of bad luck.
When I was a kid playing baseball, I used to love rainy days because it meant practice (which I hated!) got canceled.
But now that I’ve retired from baseball and become a working adult in an office, I have to go to work unless the weather is truly awful, like during a typhoon.
So… I don’t really like rainy days anymore 😅
Still, Japan is facing a rice shortage this year, so if there’s not enough rain, that would be a serious problem too.
